Bob Beers

Jeff and Bob met on the ice as opponents on many professional teams but off the ice are old friends. Bob is a retired American professional ice hockey defenseman. He currently serves as a radio commentator on Boston Bruins broadcasts on the WBZ Bruins radio network and is an occasional contributor to NESN Bruins and College Hockey broadcasts. Beers played Division 1 College Hockey at the University of Maine, in Orono, Maine. He is one of many former Black Bear players who went on to play in the NHL. Bob is accredited as a brilliant hockey mind. His career in broadcasting has taken off because he is spot on when providing the color for NHL games. Jeff always says he learns something from both Bob Beers and Andy Brickley who give the play by play for the Boston Bruins games. Bob is an excellent coach and vehicle for youth hockey training. He has created systems for his individual camps that are game changers. He is an expert at breaking down a hockey game and therefore has created a curriculum that breaks down how to teach the game of hockey. His expertise is such a valued addition to Pro Ambitions Hockey, Inc. Look up the Bob Beers camps on the boarding camp section of the site.
