While other kids sit on the couch all
summer, YOUR KID gets faster,
stronger & smarter on the ice

Summer is where separation happens. The kids who train come back in September and dominate. The kids who don’t? They fall behind – and the gap only widens.

At Pro Ambitions, your child gets 4+ hours of ice time daily with coaches who actually played in the NHL. Not weekend warriors. Not beer league dads. Real pros who know what it takes to compete at the highest level.

TESTIMONIALS

“Pro Ambitions is one of the best programs I have seen in the NY/NJ area. The Battle Camps are great, my son loves to attend as many as he can.
Great job boys!!”

–John Madden NJ Devils, NHL

“Love the Battle camp and curriculum. The kids work hard, have fun and at the end of the day go home with great tools to utilize during their season.””

–Tom Fitzgerald, 18 Year NHL Vet

“My son Evan attended the Kents Hill camp last summer and worked with Phil Russell (former NHL Captain Calgary Flames/Chicago), I wanted to have his mailing address so I can write to him and thank him for changing my son’s life. Evan came home from camp super motivated this year. My son has made huge strides in hockey and his season is off to a great start.
Thank you!
Happy New Year!”

Don’t Let Your Kid Fall Behind This Summer

The kids who train this summer will dominate next season.
Will your kid be one of them?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What ages is the camp designed for?

Pro Ambitions specializes in youth girls and boys hockey camps targeting players from six to eighteen years of age. proambitions The goalie camps use the same 6–18 age range.

What skill level does my child need to be?

Pro Ambitions doesn’t publish a single skill-level answer on the FAQ. Campers are grouped by age and size, and the program spans everything from introductory youth levels up through AA/AAA and D1 Exposure camps for elite players. For goalies specifically, the camps develop goalies at every age, skill level, and ability, and training is tailored to each goalie’s strengths, weaknesses, and ability rather than using a cookie-cutter approach. proambitions If you’re unsure which camp fits, the site directs you to email info@proambitions.com or js@proambitions.com.

What should my child bring?

It depends on whether it’s a Day Camp or a Boarding Camp. For Day Camp, bring: a water bottle (mandatory), full hockey equipment including a neck guard for goalies and a mouthpiece, sneakers and off-ice clothes (t-shirt, shorts, sweatshirt), the camper’s name taped to the front of the helmet, a packed lunch with two snacks in an insulated cooler with an ice pack, any medications or coach instructions, and a street hockey stick (goalies included). For Boarding Camp, bring all of the above plus: a completed health form and immunization record signed by a doctor within the past year, XL Twin linens/sheets/pillow/blankets/towels/toiletries/bathing suit, two hockey sticks and one street hockey stick, a fan and alarm clock (optional), around $100 in spending money for emergencies and snacks, and — URI Surf Camp only — a surfboard and wetsuit.

What’s the daily schedule and drop-off/pick-up time?

For day camps, full day camps typically run 8:30 AM to 4 PM, with ice time 9–11 AM and 1–3 PM, though some locations start and end later. proambitions First-day check-in is 8:00 AM to allow time for locker room setup and getting on the ice by 9:00; the remainder of the week check-in is 8:30 AM, or a half hour before ice time for clinics. proambitions Campers picked up more than 15 minutes late are charged a $25/hour late fee. proambitions There’s also a Battle Express option (2 hours on-ice only) and a Half Day option (2 hours of ice plus lunch and off-ice).For boarding camps, four to five hours of ice daily is spread throughout the day depending on location. proambitions Specific schedules vary by camp, so check the individual camp page.

What’s the coach-to-camper ratio?

Never more than 5:1, with some specialty camps as low as 3:1. proambitions Goalie camps specifically run at 5:1 with a maximum of 7 goalies per camp.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes, though it’s credit-based rather than cash-refund-based unless you opt into insurance. The key points:Refunds are only possible through the Active Network Insurance Program, which must be selected and paid for at checkout. proambitionsCancellations before April 1 for US summer day camps receive full credit toward a future camp — no refunds unless Active insurance was purchased. proambitionsCancellations after April 1 for both US summer day camps and US boarding camps receive 50% credit toward a future camp — again, no refunds without Active insurance. proambitionsCamp/location transfers must be done at least 30 days before the start date, are based on availability, and have no fee. proambitionsNo-shows without notification receive no credit. proambitions
  • Illness or injury requires a doctor’s note for full credit (minus any days already attended). proambitions
  • All credit requests must be submitted through the official cancellation form — staff or phone requests aren’t accepted, and credits can take up to 30 days to process during peak season.

My child is a goalie. Is there specific goalie training?

Yes, and it’s substantial. Goalie camps include 37.5 hours of hockey-specific training, a 5:1 player-to-staff ratio, two 2-hour on-ice sessions daily, a Bauer practice jersey, and a comprehensive goalie evaluation emailed after camp. proambitions Each ice session is split into one hour of goalie positioning/fundamentals/technique followed by one hour of game-situation drills incorporating forwards and defensemen from the player camp. proambitions On-ice training covers stance, goalie-specific movements, shot preparation, mobility while down, butterfly, recovery, pivot and rotations, and tracking. proambitions Camps are capped at 7 goalies.

Can my child attend just a few days instead of the full week?

The published FAQ doesn’t address partial-week attendance directly. The site advertises Battle Express (2-hour on-ice only) and Half Day options as shorter formats, but these appear to be alternative camp products rather than a way to attend partial days of a full-week camp. For a specific partial-attendance request, the site directs questions to info@proambitions.com.
