June 30, 2026

Pro Ambitions Hockey has been developing players across the Hockey East footprint for decades. This isn't a new program chasing a trend. We've been doing this work long before it was popular, and we've built the infrastructure to do it right.
What We Do at Pro Ambitions Hockey East Camps
The mission is simple: put serious players in serious environments and push them to grow. We run AAA Commuter Camps at Providence College and AAA Camps at Boston University, with both commuter and boarding options available at BU. These aren't drop-in clinics. They're structured development experiences built around the same principles that get players to the next level.
If you want to get better, you have to train with people who have been there. That's the foundation of everything we do.
Who Is Coaching Your Player
Professional Development Coaches
Our coaching staff includes former professional players, European skill development coaches from Sweden and Prague, and a sport psychologist. Each of them brings something specific to the ice. The Swedish and Czech coaches don't just add an international flavor. They bring technical detail and competitive standards that are deeply embedded in how hockey is taught and practiced in those countries. Players notice the difference.
The sport psychologist is not an add-on. Mental performance is part of the game, and we treat it that way. If your player can't compete under pressure, all the skating and shooting in the world won't get them where they want to go.
NHL and Bruins Analysts Billy Jaffe and Andy Brickley
Our positioning lectures feature Billy Jaffe and Andy Brickley, two of the most respected hockey minds connected to the Boston Bruins. These sessions aren't just motivational talks. Players learn how the game is actually read and analyzed at the NHL level, including how decisions are made with and without the puck. That kind of insight doesn't come from a drill book. It comes from people who have spent their careers studying the game at its highest level.
Understanding the game is a skill. We develop that alongside everything else.
Why Hockey East Is the Right Environment
Hockey East is one of the most competitive college hockey conferences in the country. The players who come out of this region are held to a high standard, and they should be. Training in this environment, at facilities like Providence College and Boston University, puts your player in contact with D1 programs, D1 coaches, and a culture built around excellence.
That matters. Where you train shapes how you think about the game. We put players in places where the bar is already set high, and then we help them clear it.
Staying Connected with Pro Ambitions Hockey
Follow us on Instagram at @proambitionshockeyinc for camp videos, player features, and updates. We also run Hockey East weekly and monthly Player Awards to recognize players who are putting the work in. Recognition isn't the goal, but it means something when it comes from coaches who know what they're looking at.
The players who stay engaged with this community between camps are the ones who keep building. Development doesn't stop when camp ends.

Frequently Asked Questions
What age groups are Pro Ambitions Hockey East camps designed for?
Our camps are built for serious youth players who are competing at a high level and want to keep climbing. The AAA designation tells you something about the expected commitment and skill level. If you're a parent looking for a casual skate-around experience, this isn't the right fit. If your player is hungry to compete and improve, come see what we're doing at Providence College and Boston University.
What makes Pro Ambitions different from other hockey camps in the area?
The staff. You're not getting a roster of college kids running drills. You're getting professional development coaches, European instructors who bring a different technical lens, a sport psychologist, and input from NHL-level analysts. That combination doesn't happen at most camps. We've also been doing this for decades, so the program isn't being figured out in real time. We know what works.
Do players need to attend the full session to get value from the camp?
The boarding option at Boston University exists for a reason. When players are fully immersed, away from distractions, and living the schedule around the game, they tend to get more out of it. That said, the commuter format at both Providence College and BU is a legitimate option for players who can't stay overnight. The coaching and curriculum are the same. The immersion is just different.
How do I know if my player is ready for an AAA-level camp environment?
If your player is competing at a high level in their age group and is coachable, they're a candidate. AAA doesn't mean perfect. It means competitive, committed, and ready to be pushed. The biggest thing we look for isn't raw skill. It's the willingness to work and take instruction from coaches who are going to challenge them. Players who show up with that mindset always come out better.
