Killer Instinct in Sports is Good
Killer Instinct in Sports is Good
- “The key is not the will to win. Everyone has that. It is the will to prepare to win that is important.”
- The killer instinct in sports is the drive. The motivating engine. “I can do better and I will do eveything I can to achieve it.”
- We talk about the killer instinct at AAA BU Camps AND at The Prague Tournament via our sport psychology talks
- We don’t talk about the killer instinct in terms of harming an opponent, we talk about as a positive trait that is necessary for athletes to reach their full potential
- Forget personal goals, points,  we train to WIN. Those things we just mentioned will come but NEVER FOCUS ON THOSE.
- We talk about winning. We train kids to think about winning. Talk about winning. Crave winning. It is not a rude word. The killer instinct in sports revolves around that word.
- We talk a lot about winning in Prague. We form teams of kids from all over The Nation. We are competing against the youth of Europe. Russia, Czech, Sweden… We travel a long way, not to lose but to win. Some of the European teams that we will face off against play together year round. The Czech Teams look like a team that Jagr grew up playing on. Eye opening to see how they train, play, compete. We are not sure they adhere to the birth year rules but they certainly make us adhere to them…Those of you who played for us last year know what I am talking about. The Czech refs were NOT in our favor. The Czech Teams looked like men, some teams beat us badly, that being said -we overcame and bonded and WON. All teams at least ended up 500. I am very proud. The competition was steep.
- We are putting together our teams NOW. We have a lot of repeat players which is AWESOME. We have booked the best hotel this year. The Hilton. We learned a lot last year. Picture below is some of the recovered lost equipment, which we got in time for everyone’s first game…
- We are very proud of this tournament and trip. We are happy folks are booking their own flights this year, that was a lot of the problem.
- Please email Jeff today, same as last year at this time,  our teams are almost full. We were able to ADD teams last year but the tournmanet has grown and we do not believe the tournament has room for us to add teams again this year. We have asked.
- EMAIL JEFF SEROWIK  js@proambitions.com he is coaching the 05 team. NHL analyst Billy Jaffe is coaching the 04 Team again. We have college and professional coaches on deck for the other teams. Jeff will help you be placed on all teams. He is loving being the GM.
