Weekly Training to Transform Your Game

Small Group and Private Sessions

Join us for our all-level, all-ages small group skills sessions. These sessions are designed to improve technical skills, boost confidence, and bring your game to the next level. Small groups mean coaches can actually see what you're doing wrong and fix it before bad habits get locked in. That's the difference between training that works and training that wastes your time.

Our private training opportunities take that a step further. When a player works one-on-one with a coach, the feedback is immediate and specific. You're not waiting your turn. You're being coached every single rep, and that adds up fast over a season.

What We Focus On

Whether you need to fine-tune specific skills or build a stronger foundation, we've got you covered. The technical side matters, skating edges, puck handling under pressure, shooting mechanics, but so does the mental side. We push players to be accountable for their effort and honest about where their game needs to grow.

Gain an Edge with Holiday Camps

Holiday camps are the perfect way for players to stay sharp and gain an advantage over their competition. While other players are taking time off, you're putting in work. That gap compounds over a season and a career.

These camps are packed with high-intensity drills, skill-building exercises, and feedback that prepares players to compete at their best. We keep the pace high because that's what games actually feel like. Training at game speed matters. If you're only ever practicing slow, you're not ready for what's coming at you in a real situation.

Holiday camps also put players in a focused environment away from their regular team routine. Sometimes that change of scenery, working with different coaches and different players, is exactly what a kid needs to break through a plateau.

Keys to Success on the Ice

Success doesn't happen by accident. It's built on dedication, hard work, and leadership. Here are the principles we come back to again and again with every player we coach:

  • Work harder than everyone. Effort sets you apart.
    - Don't skip reps. Every rep counts. Do the drill with focus and intention.
    - Outwork your opponents off the ice. What you do outside the rink impacts your performance in it.
    - Be positive and lead by example. Encourage teammates, stay composed, and rise above adversity.
    - Make every ice session count. Play with passion, embrace the process, and most importantly, have fun.

These aren't motivational poster phrases. They're the things that separate players who develop from players who stall. The rink shows everything. You can't fake your way through a competitive game or a hard practice. You either put the work in or you didn't.

Take the Next Step

At Pro Ambitions Hockey, we're committed to helping young athletes unlock their full potential. Whether it's through camps, skills sessions, private lessons, or holiday programs, we provide the tools, support, and motivation needed to thrive. The players who get the most out of what we offer are the ones who show up ready to be coached and willing to work.

If that sounds like you or your kid, let's get started.

Frequently Asked Questions

What age groups do your training sessions and camps work for?

Our programs are open to all ages and all skill levels. Whether a player is just getting started or has years of competitive experience, we can work with them. We structure our small group sessions so that players are grouped appropriately and everyone is getting challenged at the right level for where they are right now.

How is small group training different from a regular team practice?

In team practice, a coach is managing a full roster. In small group training, you get real repetitions and real feedback on every drill you run. The ratio of coaching attention to player is completely different. That's where individual improvement actually happens. Team practice builds chemistry. Small group and private training builds the individual skills you bring to that team.

How do I know if my child is ready for private training?

If your child wants to get better and is willing to put in focused work, they're ready. We've worked with players across a wide range of experience levels. The most important thing isn't where they are right now. It's how coachable they are and how much they want to improve. If you're not sure, book a free consultation and we'll talk it through with you honestly.

What should a player bring to or expect from a holiday camp?

Come ready to work hard for the full duration of every session. We run high-intensity drills at game speed, so players should be well-rested and hydrated. Bring full equipment, a good attitude, and the willingness to be coached. Players who get the most out of our camps are the ones who stay engaged between drills, ask questions, and compete on every rep, not just when a coach is watching.
