These weekends are for older AAA players who are committed not only to their game but to themselves. Mental teachings, fitness, life lessons that will translate in the classroom, on the ice and for many years to come in life. These weekends have been years in the making. Jeff Serowik and his team are proud to offer these for summer 2019.

 

Here are some age and hockey requirements:

  • AAA Hockey players
  • Minimum age 12
  • We welcome International players as we do at all Pro Ambitions Camps
  • We welcome girls as we do at all Pro Ambitions Camps even if they are not specifically designated for girls
  • This will be an intimate group of 25 skaters max
  • You will fill out an in depth form prior to camp, Serowik and Team will respond with an in depth plan for your weekend pertaining to your goals

The Weekend Schedule

Friday

2-5pm Check in at BU and get your rooming assignment

5-6pm Welcome Dinner at BU , meet coaches, team leaders and Jeff Serowik

6-7pm Lecture with Jeff Serowik and Navy Seal  about the weekend and Making YOUR LIST of responsibilities

7:30-9pm  On Ice Battle Session with Jeff and Team of AAA Coaches and On Ice Director

9-9:30 Locker Room Team Building Exercise that is unique to Pro Ambitions and will be repeated throughout the weekend  and Gatorade Snacks  

10pm Lights out bed early

 

Saturday

7-8:30am Breakfast with Nutrition Expert Julie Nicoletti of Kinetic Fuel, the sports nutritionist to The Boston Bruins and many NHL players.

Lecture during breakfast you will be given menus prior to camp to help you get on a plan before coming to camp. There are a lot of incredible options at the BU dining hall which is catered by Marriott.

9-10am On Ice Mr. Assist Passing Skills and European Micro Stick Skills

10-11am On Ice Session Defense with Serowik for both Forwards and Defensemen and Battle Drills. We want you losing your battle drills at first we will get there together. You will be pushed but in only positive ways. We want you to go out of your comfort zone to try new things.

 

11-12 rest and get ready for Lunch

12-1 Lunch and lecture with NHL Analyst Billy Jaffe and Jeff Serowik  on Hockey IQ and tips for your own game

1-2:30 Strength and Conditioning with Expert Brian McDonough of Edge Performance System. Brian trains the New England Patriots and 90% of NHL players who reside in Boston for the summer. We will be focusing on leg strength and conditioning, single leg at a time in particular to translate to speed and change of direction on the ice.

230-3pm snack sponsored by Gatorade

3-5 On ice Session with the entire team and Pittsburgh Penguins Skills Coach Ty Henness  Battle Camp Skills

5-7 Dinner and Break at your leisure

730-9 NHL Sports Psychologist lecture with Max Offenberger and Serowik continue to work on YOUR LIST

9:30-10pm before bed snack Meditation with Jeff finding your word. Each player will have a word to rely on during games. Jeff’s back in the day was “ Move Mountain”

10pm Bed, players will be tired, a great tired

 

Sunday

7-8:30 Breakfast with Coach Marc check in with him in the dining hall to get your Mr. Assist Off Ice Training Tool

9-10am Lecture with Jeff and his former agent Jay Fee, a mentor, the real life Jerry Maguire, Hockey Tips, Recruiting Tips, All around hockey advice on how “Hockey Will Not Go As Planned, but that is OK”

10-12 On ice session with Jeff and The Team to prepare for parents showcase skill session

12-130 Lunch pack up your room relax

2-3 Parents Invited to On Ice Showcase Session

3-4 Awards Closing Meeting with Parents Run by Serowik and Team, giving out of homework training tools and after care camp to dos including Serowik’s book of essays, mental training, nutrition packets and goals, Mr. Assist Training Tool and more.
