I am a defenseman. Although I was a forward until my Junior year in prep school, my draft year. I am the Eddie Shore Award recipient for the Best Defenseman in the minors. I still hold the record for the most goals from a defenseman when I played for the Providence Bruins in the AHL before I was called up to the NHL. I think the strongest part of my game was my shot from the blueline. I focus on all of the elements in my own specific camps. I designed and trademarked the Battle Camp curriculum which Pro Ambitions is known for. My philosophy in training is to compete and engage with other players in game situational battles. I created this niche in the market many years ago. I introduce two pucks in all drills, no standing around, a lot of touches. Never fear training with me. I want my campers to make mistakes and feel comfortable in learning. This is where and how you learn at camp. This philosophy is the heart and soul of all of our camps. The clinics below you will train with me personally. I call the “D” the “mules”. We pull the cart up the hill, no glory, but blamed when we didn’t get the puck away from “our house”. Forwards we need you to compete and we will focus on your defensive play, gap control and back checking.
